2. What is a 4-layer ASA/PVC roof sheet?
The sheet has four co-extruded layers: an ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) top layer that blocks UV and holds the colour, and three PVC layers underneath that give stiffness and impact strength. All layers use 100% virgin resin. PVC conducts heat very poorly (under 0.2 W/m·K, against about 50 W/m·K for steel), so the roof stays cooler and quieter than metal.

5. How does the sheet perform in tests?
In our truck test, a loaded truck drives over the sheet to show its impact resistance. Lab results from Quatest: tensile strength 25.7 MPa, flexural strength 51.6 MPa; after 24 hours in 10% HCl at 23 °C the mass change was 0.02%. Santiago's own measurements show the space under the roof 6–8 °C cooler and rain noise about 80% lower than under galvanised steel. The ASA layer keeps its colour for 30 years; service life is 25–30 years with a 10-year warranty.
